Refunds

Eligibility

Refunds apply to fees paid for Workspace Lagoon Way advisory engagements (briefs, workshops, readiness reviews, and audits). This site does not sell physical goods or software licences.

Timeframe to request

Cancellation or refund requests should be emailed to contact@workspace-lagoonway.click as soon as practicable. We confirm receipt within two working days.

Full refunds

If you cancel more than ten working days before the agreed start date, and we have not begun substantive analysis or workshop preparation, we refund fees paid in full.

Partial refunds

If you cancel between three and ten working days before start, or after limited preparation has begun, we may retain up to 40% of the engagement fee to cover preparation already performed, and refund the balance of amounts paid.

Non-refundable items

Fees for work already delivered (completed briefs, completed workshop facilitation, issued readiness memos) are non-refundable. Third-party costs we agree in writing in advance (for example, booked travel for an Edinburgh on-site session after tickets are purchased) are non-refundable once incurred.

Work already started

Once analysis of your crash data or facilitation has started, fees cover time spent. We invoice for completed stages and refund only unused prepaid amounts for stages not begun, less any agreed retention above.

Deposits

Deposits secure calendar time. They are applied to the final invoice. Deposits follow the same cancellation schedule as engagement fees.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule once without charge if you give at least five working days’ notice and a mutually available slot exists within thirty days. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a £150 administration fee.

No-shows

If key attendees miss a scheduled workshop without notice, the workshop fee remains due. We may offer a shorter follow-up call at our discretion; it does not reset the fee.

Refund process and timing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within fourteen working days of approval. You will receive email confirmation of the amount and reference.

Exceptions

If we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control, you may choose a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work or a free reschedule. Statutory rights under United Kingdom law remain unaffected where they apply.
